Symptoms of Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye) in Newborns

Normally in newborns, younger than three months old, the existence of an infection center, in any part of their bodies, is very dangerous. Therefore, watery eyes and discharges around the eyes of a baby can be a sign of eye infection. In other words, if in the morning you've noticed that your newborn has difficulty in opening his/her eyes, has watery eyes throughout the day, and rubs his/her eyes constantly, you need to be alert and take seriously the possibility of eye infection and eventually blocked tear ducts.
